Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request submitted by Dan Walker to rezone a vacant property on the east side of Van Dyke/M-53 just north of the intersection with 35 Mile Rd and on the north side of the Mahaffy Drain (parcel ID 14-01-14-300-010) from R-1 Single-Family Residential to M-1 Industrial for the purpose of building a storage facility. The parcel in question is approximately 20.15 acres.
A complete copy of the application for rezoning may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on July 5, 2023.
