Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 20, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for a variance submitted by Ford Motor Land Development Company. The applicant is seeking a variance from Section 161-3.1.1.E, which establishes a height limit of 30 feet in the RS Residential Suburban District. The applicant is seeking a building height of 32 feet. The property in question is near the center of the Ford Proving Ground facility at 74240 Fisher Road (Parcel 01-18-100-001).
A complete copy of the application for a variance may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 AM through 4:30 PM and Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on May 20, 2024.
