You may register to vote at the Clerk’s office during office hours or at any Secretary of State Office.

Early Voting
With the passage of Proposal 22-2, voters now have the right to vote in-person at an early voting site prior to Election Day for all statewide and federal elections.
Early Voting for the August 4, 2026 election:
Dates: July 25, 2026 through August 2, 2026
Time: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Place: Charter Township of Washington Activity Center
- When there is a statewide or federal election, early voting is open nine (9) consecutive days beginning on the second Saturday prior to the election and ending the Sunday prior to the election.

The Clerk is responsible for administering all federal, state, county and local elections held in Bruce Township. The Clerk also maintains the Township’s voter registration records through direct access to Michigan's Qualified Voter File (QVF) system in cooperation with Michigan's Secretary of State. Michigan election law designates the Secretary of State as "chief election officer" with supervisory control over local election officials in the performance of their election related duties.
