Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 23, 2022 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for special land use approval submitted by Michael R. Touchette. The applicant is seeking a variance to permit placement of an accessory building in the side yard at 71722 East Pond Creek Drive (parcel ID 14-01-27-300-059); the required setback for the portion of the building in the side yard is 15 feet, and the applicant proposes a ten-foot setback.
A complete copy of the application for a variance may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on May 23, 2022.
