Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for special land use approval submitted by Chau Smith. The applicant is seeking a special land use approval to permit a banquet/meeting room space in one storefront of the shopping center at 70941 Van Dyke, which is zoned C-2 Commercial (parcel ID 14-01-34-203-004).
A complete copy of the application for a variance may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 AM through 4:30 PM and Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on January 4th, 2023.
