Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065. This is a change from the scheduled meeting of August 2nd, due to a lack of quorum.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on amendments to the zoning ordinance:
- Amend Sections 161-3.1.13.B and 161-3.1.14.C to permit tobacco shops in the C-2 district.
- Amend Section 161-4.47.B. to clarify site condominium procedures and establish a validity period for site condominiums.
A complete copy of the amendments may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 AM through 4:30 PM and Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on August 9th, 2023.
