Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request submitted by Daniel Walker to rezone a portion of the property at 72050 Van Dyke (where Van Dyke re-joins M-53, parcel ID 14-01-26-100-007) from O-1 Limited Office to C-3 Commercial. The property in question is approximately 5.8 acres of a larger 38.9 acres; the rest of the property is zoned R-1-B and this is not proposed to change.
A complete copy of the application for rezoning may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on November 1, 2023.
