Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for special land use approval submitted by Robert W. Kirk. The applicant is seeking a special land use approval to permit the location of an Auto Insurance Auctions Corporation storage lot for auction vehicles at (parent parcel #14-01-25-400-013; 14381 E. 33 Mile Road); (child parcels ID 14-01-25-400-018, 019 and 020; 71800 Bruce Tech Park Drive vacant). This lot is zoned M-1 and approximately 72 acres.
A complete copy of the application for special land use approval may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 AM through 4:30 PM and Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on July 5th, 2023.
