Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 25, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request for a variance submitted by Tim Gozdor. The applicant is seeking a variance from Section 161-4.10, which requires a swimming pool to have setback of 15 feet from the property line. The applicant seeks a setback of 8 feet, 11 inches from both side lot lines on a lot that is triangular in shape. The property in question is 12279 Mentz Drive (Parcel 14-01-35-127-014).
A complete copy of the application for a variance may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 AM through 4:30 PM and Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on November 25, 2024.
