NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Bruce Township Planning Commission
Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request submitted by Lombardo Homes to rezone several properties between Van Dyke and Mellen Street from their current mixed C-1, C-2, and R-1-B designations to R-1-C Single Family Residential. The properties are mostly vacant at present and total 22 acres. Properties in question are:
01-35-101-028 (Zoned C-2 / R-1B)
01-35-101-023 (Zoned C-2)
01-35-101-051 (Zoned C-2 I R-1B)
01-35-101-029 (Zoned C-1)
01-35-101-025 (Zoned R-1B)
01-35-101-035 (Zoned R-1B)
A complete copy of the application for rezoning may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on August 7, 2024.
This notice is published pursuant to the requirements of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110 of 2006, as amended.
